What's new
I believe it is. I asked the same when testing and was told it’s the fix?

I don't remember the title screen color being changed in the Makoto fix. In fact I reread the entire thread about the fix and it was agreed to just add the two dots in the date to distinguish it as a fixed version. If we had to change the color of the title screen I would not have used the same color as 4rd Strike.

i would rather it just be changed back to the two dots in the date tbh.

Interesting, I wonder if it indeed is the fix or some other bastard version?

Maybe someone made a mistake making the rompack. I'll have a look at 4th Strike to see if that really should be green.

$rd strike should be green. Makoto fix never was unless someone stealth changed it.

Don't have an ultrasimm set, but can attest to the makoto fix title screen never being green on a cd/SD card setup.

On the pack provided, 4th Strike is green and works fine. This is another beast in itself, it's green but isn't 4th Strike.

So If I understood right, 4th strike is green and it's supossed to be green. Makoto Fix is not supossed to be green and it isn't in your case, but it's in the case of @TMF68k , right?

No. It’s green on mine too. I’ll send you a PM.

Jojo2 nocd board came in the mail today, waiting for my simms to arrive from highscoresaves... I just plugged the CPS3 PCB into my supergun to test it out and it’s so quiet that I immediately thought “dang something is broken”! After CPS2 and Naomi I’m just not used to a board without a deafening fan anymore! 😄

CPS3 multi setup with UltraSimms and SuperBios is working great. I think the only thing lacking to make this perfect is a patch for Warzard/Red Earth so that a SCSI cdrom isn’t needed (it’s pretty unplayable without one hooked up.)

Thanks Darksoft and everyone involved! Amazing.

I swapped out the fan on cps2 and thought it was broken after turning back on.... so quiet.... lol

Anyway, I am not sure I need the ultra simms (right now) due to the scsi2sd. 45 minute load time is doable as a practice of patience while I save up money for the ultra simms.

??? I’ve played through Red Earth several times and don’t have a SCSI device connected.

You know you need it

Hmmm...well here’s a link to the attract screen playing all the way through twice-there isn’t any pausing that I’m noticing. However, the SCSI controller chip was dead on my CPS3 board when I bought it (among other problems) so I removed it. Maybe that’s why I’m not seeing any issues.

@ShootTheCore which chip is that? I could try lifting power and seeing if that fixes mine. Fwiw I skipped attract and noticed it during actual gameplay. Not sure if attract is affected, I’ll check when I’m back home but you could play a bout also
