What's new

Insanely fast shipping. Beautiful case. This thing is a tank! Thanks!

(I know I need a shorter SCSI cable)

Anybody currently making 3D printed cart cases? My Super BIOS cart is naked right now.

How do I hook up the light? Can I see a picture of how it's properly done?

I'm ready to order one. Does the new cases have HDMI hole drilled out already?

I put mine together today and am loving it!

First I soldered a molex power connector to the other end of the power wires for the LED:

This way nothing has to be soldered onto the CPS3 board while assembling and it can plug right into the motherboard (since the SCSI2SD doesn't need power via molex and can run straight from SCSI cable alone).

Next I moved the mounting board for the SCSI2SD towards the back of the case. This was required to work with my short SCSI cable which I've been using with my previous plexi setup.

It works fine and mounts perfectly with the older SCSI2SD revision! 8)

All put together:

It's fantastic! I really like how it can optionally mount in cabinets too, as that's where this will be spending the majority of its time.

Saving this idea reqiring Molex to SCSI2SD for LED. Great job!

Just got one, but I'm confused?
Is this how it goes?, I had to remove the white shell from the motherboard to fit it, no support on the opposite side? The holes just don't match up the other way. There's something weird about the case I received ( my case came pre assembled ) I ask baby yodas but I don't think he knows either

I think it was assembled incorrectly, but don't quote me on that I'm pepega, however based on your comment @MudGuts83 I did this and the holes matched perfectly. Now I can put the battery shell back on. Sadly now the finish is messed up a little on the other side ( My fault ) and the serial number is now on the inside of the case ( not a real problem ). But now I have another dilemma the SCSI2SD is too buku and pushes up on the motherboard. The moral of the story don't send a pepega to do an enthusiast job 🙄 PS. I'm the pepega

The scsi2sd capacitors just barely touch the underside of the cps-3 motherboard which doesn’t really matter. If you’re worried you can put something in between like a thin sheet of card or thick piece of paper.
