What's new
I’m working on my second machine and I’m hoping to make this one a vertical setup. I managed to get the monitor mounted, but I realized that as currently configured I won’t be able to close the back. Am I supposed to modify the frame? I noticed there are multiple screw holes and maybe I can move the frame sides and the chassis tray one step toward the center? Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

Congrats to @hursit and the rest of members of the forum who helped him to make this one of a kind, piece of art and craftmanship. Your work brought me to this great place. It would have been great getting one of these candies.

I have many things to learn, and hope it will be funny as hell.
Write to you soon!!

I believe @hursit is hinting that perhaps he will design his OWN new candy cabinet design.

Given the quality of his work, that would be a pretty insane if he took all the cool bits from exisiting cabs (rotate mech) and wacked it into a new design!

Looking forward to any new cab hursit does but fingers crossed it uses bigger tube like 27/29. I got 3 looking for a home. :)

I know it’s maybe unreasonable but what are the chances of somehow having a cab with both a CRT and a LCD. Best of both worlds?

Perhaps some new innovations can occur?

Hello people

My plan is create a new candy design yeah, i know it is not easy. But let me explain something about CRT cabinets
CRT's are really cool, but unfortunately we have really less people in this hobby and some time manifacture costs is not worth it to create big projects.
Thats why my plan is design a candy cabinet with LCD support, and this time plug&play type. We love this hobby and we can search and digging for monitors, even it is very hard for us sometimes. Just imagine a home user. Even CRT need some professionality because of the electric problems.

Another problem is shipping. The whole complete cabinet takes a lot of space for shipping. That means higher shipping costs. Thats why the another idea is making the cabinet like Arcade1up style. Im not talking about wooden USA style cabinet. Im talking about disassembled style. Smaller, lighter, completed, LCD cabinet. Of course with rotate mechanism :D

I can create a fully CRT cabinet for the Arcade-Project community but , i will bring you some guys to Turkey to help me :P
Even the mini cutes fu...ed my back :D i cant imagine 27/29" CRT cabinet 8o
