Yeah that's the normal 1p board.. I have seen them go on sale quite a bit on YAJ so keep a look out there - I've seen them go for cheap too.

Curious about the differences and pros and cons of the Noir and Vewlix in comparison. I have no interest in a Lindbergh cab but would like to know as much as I can about the Noir and the Vewlix from people who own them. Arcade Otaku can only tell one so much. Any insight would be appreciated.
My interest would be simply running modern arcade games on some sort of multi set up in the cab itself..if that helps. Cheers.

I don't have an original vewlix, I have a couple of chewlixs and a couple of tekken 6 noirs so my experience is based on the chewlix
The Vewlix imo is the best looking LCD based cab and it's quite versatile. You can tate it.
The Noir is built like a tank! It's down right the most solid cab I've ever come across - it's a 140 kg behemoth! The marquee on the noir is out there and is always making a statement and the sound is by far the best sounding speakers. It's a normal candy cab height so 43cm stools will work just fine. Unfortunately, you can't tate a noir like you can with a vewlix.
Budget is also a factor, I believe you can get Noirs cheaper than you can get a vewlix.
It's a lot harder to install a fastio setup to a Noir than it is to a vewlix (it's possible, but annoying). Information on the Noir is very very limited compared to the vewlix.
If I had to go back, I would still get a chewlix/vewlix for a first HD cab, but a Noir wouldn't be too far behind.

Is there a noticeable size difference, difference in price or difference in what the cab can do? I'm sensing that Vewlix/Noir/Lindbergh are all of a similar 2007 and on mindset of just being available for HD games through their own hardware..and I'm leaning towards a Noir because of pricing..but would I be massively missing out if I chose it over a Vewlix in the future?

It’s not easy or hard to rotate the Vewlix, but you still have take it apart to do it. No way to rotate a Noir.
I love my Noir, it’s not that the speakers are top of the line, it’s that Namco built an awesome custom speaker box for the 4 speakers it comes with.
There are tons of mods and aftermarket parts for the Vewlix, but I love my Noir and would get another before I considered a Vewlix. Though, I’m relatively handy and I’ve customized my Noir to fit my needs and it’s just Steam PC machine at this point with a new monitor.

So..with them being PC based, there are really no limitations on what kinda games you can play on all three cabs? Are they able to handle MiSTer/Pi 4 type devices..or a custom PC build? My concern with the HD cabs is that I'd end up being limited to like 15 games period and that's not how I'd want to utilize my limited space.

With a JVS-PAC2 or just rewiring your controls to USB encoders, which is what I did, you can drop in a PC and away you go. I would recommend a new monitor regardless of which cab you get, these monitors are ancient tech, by todays standards and are usually 720p max resolution.
What monitor did you go for, Muck? What size is required?

It’s a 32” LG 1080p, it was on sale. If I could do it again, though I just might, I would have put in a 1440p monitor instead.
Noted. So newer 32-inch monitor. Are you guys trying to run multi setups or Steam or what in the Noir? What's your ideal Noir setup? How hard are the blue ones to find as well? Really liked the look of one of the blues on this thread. Cheers guys.

The vewlix sits higher than the Noir. Viewing angle on the noir is perfect though.

Which one do you like the look of better and can you afford it?I have my noirs linked up with an xbox 360. I've also got a pc in there and it's pretty easy to switch between the two, I simply plug in the usb encoders (ps360's) from the 360 to the pc.
Alternatively, I've also got a ttx3 in one of the noirs which can also be easily changed to JVS. It's all about what you really want to play.
No matter what system you use, you can pretty much interchange them all pretty seamlessly
Changing a monitor would be ideal, you'll have to be creative in how you mount the monitor, but it's definitely possible. That being said, the Sanwa monitor in my Noir is still bright and vibrant. I have no issue using it for 720p which is why I predominantly use a ttx3 or the 360 with it.
Thanks Mr Caesar. Super helpful info. I sorta like the idea of having either a PC build that can run whatever or getting Lindbergh Yellow, TT2/3 or 357/359 multis and being able to switch between them in the Noir or Vewlix as I see fit. Coinops Arcade is another thought but I doubt that or a Pandora's Box is really going to get what I want out of the cab.The vewlix sits higher than the Noir. I have both and the Noir is by far and away the better machine. Like already stated the Tate option is the only thing the viewlix has over the noir although that's a pain. Every other thing I think the noir beats the viewlix on hands down. Great we have this area to chat about the noirs, good to meet with other owners and share experiences and knowledge.

I'm afraid I dont know mate, if you find out let us know on here. I love my noir and collect all the moves strips and marquees for it but damn they are difficult to find. I was going to get them all scanned but just havent had timeHi!
