Locked N Loaded -> Dragon Gun conversion

Howdy y'all. So a while back, I bought a Locked N Loaded PCB. Fun game and all, but I recalled reading both on here and KLOV that early Locked N Loaded boards were converted from Dragon Gun since that game flopped. The giveaway is the Intel I750 chips on the bottom of the board and empty socketed areas for Dragon Gun. Mine appears to be one of those boards. I've been told converting it to Night Slashers is nigh impossible but I saw a thread detailing a similar conversion with another Locked N Loaded. I know Dragon Gun uses an OKI6285 processor for sound. I would keep this but the guns for this game never show up for sale and I don't know where I'd find the Suzo Happ converter. So my questions are:

1. Is it possible to convert this back to Dragon Gun?
2. If so, who would be able to do it since I'm not tech literate at all?
3. How would the controls fare, since (i think) Dragon Gun uses the mini Jamma edge for guns.

Would be an interesting conversion back.
Does either game use protection?

Far to my knowledge no, the only thing that's really a roadblock is the video chip for FMV on Dragon Gun.
