furrtek - MVS to AES fusion converter

Hi all,

I have sent multiples messages to furrtek since January without any type of reply or ack. I have sent a few emails asking to be added to the waiting list

Is this normal?

Does anyone has a converter willing to sell?

I want to support furrtek but this behavior is very frustrating. I'm his patreon suporter a long time ago but not even thought Patreon I can get any reply.

I contacted him April last year and got a response a day later, so I expect he is distracted by other life stuff.

I sent him 4 emails on the past 4 months without any reply. I also sent a message thought Patreon

Be patient. A lot of people have real life things going on, or need a break… 4 months with no reply isn’t really a deal breaker for a trivial game adapter.

Being a Patreon supporter doesn’t mean that person should be on call for you.

I get it’s frustrating but, furrtek is a solid dude and he will come through. Make a WTB post here and go play or do something else in the meantime.

Agreed, an awesome guy. Emailed him out of the blue months ago that I was interested in one if he made more. Got an email today from furrtek letting me know they are back in stock. Bought one, of course.

Can confirm - requires a massive amount of time energy, specialist skills and equipment, expensive and hard to find parts. I have no idea how Furrtek can make these and sell them for the insanely low price that he does.

This definitely strikes me as a passion project, normally they come up for sale every 6-12 months and sell out almost immediately when they do. My input costs just for parts was more than Furrteks retail costs. Clearly some kind of art project or hobby, gotta be losing money on every unit.
