Hey everyone!

I commissioned this custom case design for my DoDonPachi PCB on Fiverr, and now I'm sharing it with you.

You have my permission to make changes (and you will have to, see below) and to print the case off for yourself. You may not sell or otherwise profit from this or derivates of this design. I also ask that you please do not share these files on other websites outside Arcade-Projects.

A couple warnings:
  • The thickness of the walls is much too thin. You will need to edit the files to make them considerably thicker before printing.
  • The JAMMA edge access port is slightly too narrow for a HAS v5 JAMMA harness, and will need to be widened if you use something of similar heft.
I had a test print run off, and details-wise it was fine. Having said that, the structure itself was flimsy and warped as a result of the particularly thin walls. An unfortunate result of my inexperience with 3D printing during the commissioning process. The PCB fit nicely on the tray, though, and the look is lovely. I believe it can be remedied fairly simply; but, I lack the skill, software, and the time necessary to dedicate to it. So, I leave that to you lot.

The hole fitment was designed with M5 insert threads in mind, and they did indeed fit perfectly in my test run.

With all that said, here's the link to download the STEP/STL's:
