I'm swimming in K7000s right now. I rebuild with Nichicon/Panasonic caps and re-flow/reinforce in the common failure areas, such as R101, 89, etc.

Reliability of aftermarket flybacks is debatable, so I leave orignals alone if working. If they have minor cracking I seal them with Corona dope, which is a compound specifically made to seal flyback transformers and is appropriate.

Thoroughly washed, cleaned up and complete with neckboard protectors. All pots treated with Deoxit and run in for several hours.

I've been working on k7000s for a long time, including rebuilding them for some local KLOV members. I could provide references if needed

I've got a backlog of repairs and need to recoup some funds to pay for parts to keep repairing more! Prices include priority mail shipping. I individually wrap the neckboard and remote board in a medium rate flat box to insure it arrives safely.

Pictured is the current chassis for sale, $230 shipped. I have several more in progress:

Hello,

I'll probably be interested soon. Do you also have spare adjustment boards? I accidentally smashed one of mine.

Adding new 19" chassis CR-31 (fat neck) for sale: $250 shipped. Same as others, new caps, new Arcadepartsandrepair flyback. Full reflow and rebuild, working 100%

New 25" ready and ran in 6 hours. Basically recap and really reflowed, a lot of trace repair in the power section. Everything removed, sanded, cleaned up and fresh solder. Looking good and clean.

New flyback from arcadepartsandrepair.com

$250 shipped.

New Chassis for sale:

This one is similar to all my chassis I sell (see above for boring details). This one came to me with a newer flyback that tests perfectly so I left that alone.

Brand new remote board from Paradise Arcade, as this one was missing.

It also had newish "off brand" caps, so I recapped it with quality Nichicon/Panasonic as always, whoever worked on it last was kind of a butcher, so I had to do a lot of rework and trace repair. Nothing outrageous, I did have to bridge some gaps with cap legs, etc. Everything looks good.

Currently burning in on the bench, i'll let it run for at least 4-5 hours.

I individually wrap the neckboard in bubble wrap to protect for shipping. Chassis will be packed in a box within a box to insure safe delivery

Not responsible for improper installation, this chassis requires an Isolation transformer! Failure to use a proper power source will damage it.

Asking $250 shipped
