Sometimes one gets a deal. Sometimes one pays market. I didn't get to buy it either.
Fwiw rougher condition boards do go cheaper. Not sure if that was the case here.
Other markets are sometimes cheaper. Sheep is China based. Could be market there.
The old phrase rings true, don't kick a gift horse in the mouth.

Some times we can get a nice pcb or game card at a lower price.^+^
