super street fighter 2 turbo change title screen

is strange the code for main title screen works but missing some tiles?¿?

Sorry to bother you again... Could you tell me the paths to set the two screens (title and insert coin) to match the original Japanese version, so I don't lose the English language, please? I'm not entirely happy with the Tournament Battle one...

No, no, no, the patch does work, your help is great, I'm just not convinced when I see it...

I just want to keep the original TITLE screens from the Japanese version, and not lose the English language, and not touch it anymore.

try changing offsets:

A8EA, 50258, 6C498, 6C4F6, 6CE04 From $67 to $60, and 50266 from $6604 to $4E71

The patch at A8EA hides "Turbo" at the title screen after a coin is inserted. But since the patch at 6CE04 does it too, you can probably skip patching A8EA.
 
yes with this erase all "turbo" 6CE04

is possible show "x" when insert coin , with tournament battle screen?
 
And without the current patches, would it be possible?

On the normal title screen, the "x" appears in the title: Super Street Fighter 2 X: The Tournament Battle

But on the coin insertion screen, it only appears without the "x": Super Street Fighter 2: The Tournament Battle
 
I don't now. a new patch would be needed and that require to trace the code in Mame debugger from start again...
 
i tried all combinations byte for byte, this are the most clean combinations

with this gets "super street fighter 2 turbo - the tournament battle"

2DF7C: 605C
A91A: 4EB9 0002DFDA
A920: 6018

if adds 6CE04: 60 , hide both awful "turbo" words in title and insert coin in "super street fighter 2 turbo - the tournament battle"
if adds 6C4F6: 60 , show "x" in title only in "super street fighter 2 turbo - the tournament battle"

but

if adds 6C498: 60 , show "x" in insert coin , but, in all combinations less "the tournament battle"

It has to be something simple, but I can't find the solution.

I've tweaked bytes up and down, other nearby offsets with values from 67 to 60, but nothing works.

Do you know how to hide Amkuma's mini-portrait in the battle HUD? I'm trying to remove it and I can't find it in either HxD or Tiled.
