Hello all, I have found memories of visiting arcades in the Times Square area of NYC back in the 80's and the Penn Station arcade underground in the train station all the way up to the 2000's. These were top notch arcades with a thriving community, especially so once fighting games took off. The selection of games to play was almost overwhelming. I remember the honor system we had of placing a quarter on the bezel of the monitor/screen protector, denoting your turn in the queue to play. The sound of the place was almost deafening., the cabs yelling for your attention to drops some quarters into their coinbox. Unfortunately, these arcades don't exist any longer, Disney and other mega conglomerates have taken over the real estate. I'm looking to rekindle these memories by purchasing a candy cab. Anyone selling one near me (tri-state area)?
