I have not. I was curious if anyone else was experiencing the same thing or if I was oveelooking something. I've tried everything suggested here and I think it's just an issue with ms8's. Curious if it has to do with the way video is handled now and the ms8 is just touchy about it. I'll reach...

That's what I was trying to highlight in my last post (pics of v2 on ms9). On the ms9 it is far less apparent and not a big issue but on an ms8 it is very much in your face.

Testing on my ms9 chassis like I said looks way better. Something is not friendly with the ms8 for some reason.

100% tried that and a bunch of stuff before posting here. I just recapped and reflowed this ms8. While the image isn't perfect it looks really good with very minimal adjustments on everything else I've hooked up.

I'm kind of glad someone else has the issue, but not so glad at the same time. I've tested it over VGA and it looks great. I'm getting the feeling the HAS was doing something to clean it up with the jamma edge. I've tested it on my Windy with an ms9 and it looks better but the v1 is noticeably...

Okay, my apologies @misteraddons , @ImportantBet. I didn't mean to come on strong in my last post. I just tried it on my HAS using a consumer crt and yeah it looks great. I Just don't understand how there could be that drastic of a difference between the two mistercades without changing...

I get what you guys are saying but that is the same monitor, it's an ms8 so no contrast pot. If I lower the brightness it gets dim, not good. The two pics are just swapping the mistercades with zero adjustment. If the video levels are the same it should be good I would assume. The v1 is a v1.1...

I just did the swap as a test, I'm using a completely different sd card for the v2. I have been reading your v2 guide and github over and over prior to this. Would you mind checking out my ini for me? I linked it but had to change the extension from ini just to upload it.
