Just mounted the sub panel. I had to do another hole for the Power on/off button. Added a usb Port, and a switch for the "dp-ls-rs" setting (some old doujin games doesn't like the d-pad). Now i need only the volume knob.

Pretty beat up, a lot of bumps and scratches but only 2 or 3 deep marks
I wanted to use sandpaper, but in the end there are very few deep scratches.
I used 4 polishing sponges of different hardness and a polishing...
I forgot those rusty feet. To remove the feet you have to unscrew the entire leg:
Vinegar bath for 12h and cleaned with a metal brush
Then some black Paint

Ok I've pretty much cleaned everything, I've also entirely disassembled and cleaned the original buttons and joystick ( I want to change only the Blue plungers with another color)
Also greased the joystick pivot and the buttons springs with shinetsu grease
Polished the 2 little metal brackets of the Cp move strip with a dremel.

The plastic Coin slot was yellowed. I've used some Sandpaper (320,500,800,1000, 2000, 3000) to bring it back to White.

There was not so much dust but a lot of dirt and a THICK layer of nicotine
Taking the cab apart was a piece of cake, thanks to the tutorial by @penrhos
