You should only really need to remove the magnet (which is a "unplug and play" thing).. then the acceptor should work with 100YEN and with tokens of the same dimensions as 100YEN (which I would always recommend).. weight doesn't need to be exactly the same, in my case it isn't, but I didn't have...

I gave up on sourcing a sensible amount of 100Yen coins (i wanted 100 or 200) So I ended up with this: https://gateninety.com/product/capcom-plaza-tokens-226-mm-x-200/ they are very similar to 100Y coins (similar as in "pretty much identical") . Adapting the coin acceptor is the easiest task ever.

you know that the QSOUND module is an addon.. no need to sell the complete multi just for that, all you need is a QSOUND add-on module as mentioned above.. once FPGA QSOUND modules are available, I'm for sure going to get one (just because) Anyway, with the current trend around FPGA...
