Ah, this is the 2 chip version, it needs to be dumped. I did have one , sent to Phil B to dump, but he did not have the adapter. Maybe you can read the chips?

Yeah, it's not gonna run if it's not cracked. I have just converted the xevious to files, give it a try! Also , test it to the end of the game - to be sure nothing is missed.

I like a good old cracked version, bypassers / removed protection... not a fan of keygens etc but sometimes it's easier to do. Lets see if i have it in a usable format...

There's a small "video level" POT on the system 11 video board, near the 3x color capacitors, maybe it's jacked up?

After the conversion you can remove the keycus. Sure, they can be simulated / emulated but cracking them out is a lot easier / cleaner i think? Nice, so it's not only the standard conversion - there's more to it! Any clues on the pocket racer keycus ? :D

The fix is pence, you can use regular resistors if you can't find the correct array. ;) @caius also has one design that may work with surface mount resistors, if not it's easy for him to change it slightly to work.
