I have this pcb that is missing the chip at E1, from what i was told its a "custom prog". Anyone have this bord that could show me what it is, maybe its a pal that can be burned or there is a replacement for it.

I got the kit installed 2 days ago, pretty straight forward instal, wear gloves people those pins are sharp. Since i used a rev 4 B board i had to solder the wires but the instructions are very clear. I did struggle to get the encrypted roms to work but it was my mistake, the two middle wires...

I had a similar problem with a alpha 3 board. I moved all the roms to another board and worked perfect. I changed the jumpers to nonjedec and the intro worked fine but the audio will go away when you start a fight, one of the jumpers was not cut completely and was making contact, cut it clean...

I manage to get 2 cps2 a boards that where rusted beyond repair, i don't feel that bad removing the custom because i know they are useless but without a modern solution for this problem more cps2 are gonna get destroyed

i din't actually found it in a barn, i just named it that because it looks like one of those barn find classic cars :P The operator did told me that they where on service a long ago and he stored them on a friends back yard, but rain and time got the best of them

got the coin box striped and patched the holes, looking good in primer

I started whit the bezel because it need more work. The sun eat through the paint and made small cracks on the plastic, got most of it flatten out but still need to patch that hole

the tube is good, it was replace by another toshiba whit the same curvature. The original was fried

i pick up this poor girl recently and it need a lot of work but the monitor and chassis works. Ask you can see on the pictures , the jamma harness was cut off. If any one can provide some pictures of the audio jst connector i will be very grateful

i had a cps1 a board with a bad custom that behave like a suicide board, so is more likely that since is more common every day to have dead custom chip on the a board

i manged to fix one a board, i found a guy selling a dead cps2 board for parts. Took the A01 and it worked again. I do not recommend killing a working cps2, be patient and a parts board will show up

don't know anyone with a cps3 setup, does someone in here have a cps3 simm service?
