    Atomiswave Multi

I suppose since I'm here, how do most people connect these things? Pure JAMMA, or VGA? I can't think of a reason I wouldn't use VGA if it were an option. Any other general "Atomiswave" tips?

    Atomiswave Multi

Here is the bad picture of it running: The housing quality is absolutely choice. As for waiting your turn, I'd recommend just setting up an email alert for PMs. If I didn't have that set up I would have missed the 1 week reply window.

Perhaps I should have explored the menu a bit more. :) I assumed the loaded game was just there as a test; most multis don't arrive plug-and-play like this!

Do you use a scaler(Tink4K, OSSC, etc) to play your arcade games? (survey)

This is VERY relevant to my interests, and I'd love to see your process. I have curated a "couch setup" that is such a joy to use that my PCBs get more action through my home theater than my candies. The biggest hang-up is that I haven't nailed down a (good) profile process yet, so there is a...

    WTB WTB: Aleck 64 Motherboard

Yeah, I have several boxes/bins to go through looking for it. I really doubt it was thrown away, but I'm not ruling anything out until I find it. In any case, it sounds like I have quite a few things to try before snagging another motherboard. Just tapping my fingers now for the N64 extension...

Well, shit. I have no idea where it is then, lol. I'll do some digging, but I really don't remember seeing a cart. Unless it was discarded with packaging...

I'm pretty sure the Everdrive doesn't function correctly, but will boot. I could be mistaken, but I think I saw someone post it working here. I'll hold off on buying another until I can test with a controller plugged in. Hopefully it doesn't need both plugged in, because I only bought one (of...

    WTB WTB: Aleck 64 Motherboard

I'm actually using the one you sold me already. I'm basically trying to troubleshoot things, because I assumed this motherboard is good. I bought 4 games from a user here, he shipped first because he's new. None of them will boot, and I just assumed that surely all 4 can't be bad. Any...

Interest Check: Repo Restrictor disc for Gundam Stick Monkey Ball joysticks…

Its not. This little project got pushed back as my end of year became very hectic. I'm still going to make these, and will add you to the interest list. I'm still sitting on the stock and just need to cut them. "Soon"

Better molded than printed - what sort of plastic parts are we missing in this hobby?

Size is definitely the killer. I think elegoo makes some nice large-format resin printers, but formlabs will still be the winner in that area. Take a look at the peopoly phenom. I have one and can attest to its reliability.

Better molded than printed - what sort of plastic parts are we missing in this hobby?

You can use basically any sla printer to make molds. I have done prototype molds with a prusa sl1, for example. No need to spend a fortune :)

Better molded than printed - what sort of plastic parts are we missing in this hobby?

Thanks! Just let me know. Regardless of what type or scale of machine, I strongly recommend having these books as references: How to Make Injection Molds - despite the basic sounding title, this book is an incredible, easy to digest reference for best plastic part and mold design practices...
