Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

Yes I followed the instructions... but like I said that GFX card didn't want to post on any older MB that didn't have it's on-board graphics card, and then when I tried to install the drivers it reported a hardware failure, it's running in my son's newer PC now, without issue, so I may have...

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

Yeah I found out the 3060 needed a UEFI Bios to function as all non UEFI MB's didn't work with it, which is a first for me, there's typically a legacy mode where it shows some low res stuff especially for the bios.... so a EVGA 3060 may not work for this setup and 1060 may be as high as you can...

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

Sure that would work if I could see the screen, the PC, or any PC I've tried that card on doesn't Post (No Bios) during boot with that card...

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

Correction the 3060 doesn't work in any PC I have, so I have to see if I can RMA the card, or if it's a bios issue, as the fans turn, and it seems to respond, but won't post through the card... on any MB I have,,,,

    Update your TTX3 BIOS - Step-By-Step Instructions

Correction. the 3060 I purchased didn't work with other PC's either *(Tested today just to verify card was OK), so I think it's an issue with the card, I've also been looking at the forums, there are some reports about how certain UEFI settings need to be set, or updated, so it's not likely an...

I just tried a EVGA 3060 and it doesn't post even with new bios.

    Update your TTX3 BIOS - Step-By-Step Instructions

So I'll go through my experience for others to follow... Flash went without a hitch, as instructions state, backed up bios. I did it in two places, on the flash, and locally on the HDD, I figured if one didn't save properly or I couldn't get back into the machine, and I had to re-flash the chip...

    A idea for namco 246/256 8bitmod memcard pro2 (PS2 )

The Memory Card can't/doesn't fit into the PS2 Memory Slot of the 2X6... The screen makes it too fat... :/

i bought a system 357 for taiko no tatsujin but i dont have i/o board.

From what I've been reading they're 2 piezoelectric sensors per side, so 4 in total, that create a voltage due to how crystals when struck or vibrate give off a voltage that the "board" or whatever the micro-controller is reading, then I would imagine it has a threshold, and it then toggles the...

    Taiko No Tatsujin USB->JVS

So I ordered one of these which reads as USB, which will work fine for almost all Taiko No Tatsujin Games. https://taiko.ac/products/zhongtaiko Except for Namco 246 / 256 games.... I got a hold of a "Drum and Fun 11" for 246, so now I'm wondering if the generic USB to JVS adapters floating...

    Big Blue (1) Restoration

Got some glass today, and put the marquee up, I need to make another CP, before I put the "New Challengers Vinyl" overlay on there, as I'd like to make several CP's for different games that can be swapped in and out... Now I don't know what happened to this cab before, the marquee was removed...

    OpenJVS - JVS Emulator

Guncon 2 should work without sensors, it does for MiSter, with an adapter for sync, but there you have to turn on sync on green, and then plug into the green video signal with the yellow splitter, I don't know this but since Sync sits on a separate pin, you could possibly make a RCA adapter that...

    Big Blue (1) Restoration

This was my previous Dynamo SF2 Cab... with the speakers in there which I ran the same amp, and some JBL speakers to, it didn't have nearly the separation.

    Big Blue (1) Restoration

So I got a Big Blue Rev 1 cab, which was in not great shape, and I'm starting to rebuild it, I've documented some of it, and there are some notable departures from the original. But I wanted to have a flexible cab where I could run all the games / boards I own, not necessarily on a switcher but...

Big Blue (Rev1) Marquee Bulb / Fixture size.

I'm wondering if someone has the proper fixture (Dimensions) for a big blue's marquee, I want to get an LED setup, but I think if I put in a Neon Tube fixture if someone wants to later on retro-fit it with an actual neon bulb they could. But I'm wondering how long / what type the original...

    27D9200 Wiring

This is how it ended up, and works. (I removed the sketchy punch through wires) And you'd need to move the connector at the top over to CGA/EGA as well... (To make it work)

    27D9200 Wiring

Funny, before I posted I tried to put the wire just in the V/S Slot.. and remove it from H/S as well as removing the ground, all of which made it worse... but as fate would have it the only thing I didn't try was putting the white wire into the H/S slot, and it works straight out of the gate....
