CAVE themselves I imagine. That's actually pretty crappy. I think they probably saw the second hand market (yahoo etc.) and wanted to offer them cheaper to fans as reissues. With the Yen being so weak, I don't think they'd have been far off price wise to the bootleg PCBs.

I have a NOS 2 player panel, but someone broke the studs. If you can find someone to weld the studs, then you can have it for the cost of shipping. I think when the sticks are mounted, it might stay in place without welding. Worst case you have a NOS overlay you can apply to another panel.
