Issues burning 27C400 with Top3000... bad chips?

I assume there's no settings you can adjust? With the TL866 you could adjust voltages and even the delay for the write pulse which could help with some eproms, like the 27C400: https://support.retrorewind.ca/en/blog/27c400-tl866-adaptor Anyway, I wouldn't toss them. They could possibly burn...

You have to change all of the roms, not just certain ones. There's 41 chips in all.

3rd Strike graphical and sound issues on Net City cab

That's why you run the jamma video wires to the 15-pin AMP UP connector. Then you don't have to switch anything. There's two separate inputs. Now you're just using one connection. I would also look into how the audio is wired. I've done a few Net City Jamma conversions and I wire the balanced...

3rd Strike graphical and sound issues on Net City cab

Wait, what Naomi IO? There's a 15-pin AMP UP connector on the side of the monitor chassis. Ideally you would want to connect the video from your jamma board to that. EDIT: and the audio terminates to RCA connectors? Is there any sort of attenuation? This is a weird harness.

3rd Strike graphical and sound issues on Net City cab

@Jamesmakesgames, where did you pick up your custom harness from? How is video connected to the monitor? What monitor do you have? Do you have buttons or dials for the monitor controls under the control panel? The stock monitor in the Net City does 15khz natively, so I'm not sure I see the...

Why did Kasaski’s CV1000 thread get locked?

I know time flies, but that was over 10 years ago. The hacks originally came out in 2012. There was an Xbox 360 port of the game two years before that. I assume he was contacted by Cave because it was bringing attention to the fact that, hey, you didn't have to buy a port to play the game, you...

Why did Kasaski’s CV1000 thread get locked?

Again, flash carts are perfectly legal. Everdrives are sold on Amazon. There is no IP infringement. NGDEV games are not supported purely out of respect for developers still actively developing. It's the same thing with Bitmap Bureau.

Why did Kasaski’s CV1000 thread get locked?

Yes, that is it. If there was a licensed product with cardboard and artwork that you could buy from a legitimate store front for comparable money, those few bootlegs would have been dumped in an instant. I think you're seriously overestimating how many bootlegs have been sold and underestimating...
