What's the best easiest way to get Ultra Street Fighter IV onto a Type X3? I can't find any hard drives and dongles for sale right now. I know there's two multis and how to turn off the security and all that, but I've been having trouble with both. Here's my issues:
1) I need X3 because...
Okay. I mounted the image file using onto an SSD using HDD Raw Copy Tool. I put all the games in separate folders on the third partition. But when I plug it into the X2, I get the X2 loading screen and then when it's done I get a BSOD.
I tried reformatting and doing it all again and got the...
So here's an update on how this went. Get the new card and it still didn't work. Kept just getting a blank screen. What finally got it to boot was swapping the bios chip. But then I got an error saying the I/O wasn't connected when it was. And then I couldn't get the game to boot again. Changed...
Yeah, I've got one coming from him, so that will help me verify that it's the cards. We want the systems to be able to simply turn on and work. So it's easier to not be using a net DIMM.
They worked as normal DIMMs before. They haven't worked for this since I got them done for the CF. But also these three cards are the only ones I've tried. The motherboards work fine with carts. I had the DIMMs converted by Mitsurugi, so I trust that they're good. The cards are from someone else.
I'm having trouble getting any of the CF cards I have working with the Naomi CF reader, non-net. My monitor will pop up detecting an RGB signal for a second and then goes to No Sync and the game never loads. I have three games and two of them do that, the third one will reach the Naomi boot...
I found this project on Github that let's you change the questions in Quiz & Dragons. https://github.com/cschmidt0121/qad_custom
We'd like to do this and be able to refresh it with new questions every few months. I figured using the multi would be easier since I could place the file on an SD...
I did some searching and didn't find a good answer. The CPS1 roll-up pack includes Red Wave and Rainbow, but I think the YYC bootleg of Street Fighter II is the most fun. Could anyone direct me to info on how to get the MAME ROMs converted to work on the Darksoft?
Thanks! MiSTer stuff is cool for personal use, but in this situation I want something that will be out running daily for a few months. I don't want to tie up the MiSTer on one game like that. It's cool to hear that they added the cores though!
