    There was a write up on this very issue where the guy ended up double wiring it and it all worked out. Im going through the same thing and figured id solder 2 wires for buttons 4 and 5 to the jamma harness and terminate it to a connector. That way i could just plug in when using a sega i/o.

    I bought a portable, inflatable spray booth to spray cabs. I use a compressor and a gravity fed gun to spray. You’re absolutely right, paint will give you cancer. It really is nasty stuff. Good luck buddy.

    Painting plastic is super hard. You need a good paint binder/primer.
