    Positive feedback for kcarcadegame

First time feedback thread, but I'm going to try to be thorough here as there were a lot of unknowns prior to the purchase I ultimately made, and as KC himself is not a native English speaker, I figured it would be helpful if someone provided a breakdown of how everything went. As you can see...

    WTB; Namco Noir ver.c manual

On this same sort of subject, I've been trying to swap the control panel on a 2007 Red Noir (Ver. A?) I have here for quite a while but can't seem to figure it out despite unscrewing about 15 screws in the vicinity of the panel and it's not clear to me what's actually holding the control panel...

    K C Game sale

Well right, I know he had them in-stock, but as I mentioned in an earlier post I am not near enough to him to go pick anything up in person, so this is an issue related to shipping outside of that local area. I assume there would be no issues like that if you were just going to his place directly.

Could I get some photos (of a similar size as this one) of the main pages regarding assembly/teardown if it has anything like that? I can also translate so if it saves time I wouldn't mind just having the photo.

Well, we'll see. I'm happy to give anyone a fair shake, and I'll report back once everything arrives.

To be more specific, and kind of in response to @Kagaden 's experience, the unit I've ordered appears to be (at least in photos, given he sent several and some were specifically set up to highlight any damage) already in-stock at his warehouse, and presumably didn't need to wait for a cargo...

    K C Game sale

I can imagine, but as I said I don't live in the area (as I would imagine is also the case for many prospective customers), and despite living in California myself I don't have a car or any experience driving that kind of distance, so it is what it is.

Ah, I see. Well that makes more sense, then. Just wasn't really clear.

    K C Game sale

Would anyone here with experience buying from KC outside of SoCal (i.e. not physically going to his warehouse to pick it up) have any idea of how the process usually works? I've ordered a Noir cab from him and have been trying to communicate with him to get a sense of when it might arrive for...

Perhaps the Yellow variant used for Tekken 7 sometimes? As opposed to Version A/1 or B/2 which are red and blue? Just spitballing.

    K C Game sale

I was there in 2018 and that is definitely the new normal, but the advantages (more space for single-player use) seem pretty minor compared to what you lose (the opportunity for others to play with you even if they wanted to). If arcades and/or fighting games in arcades hadn't already died out...

    K C Game sale

That's really interesting, especially considering there isn't a two-player control panel that exists for the APM3 multi-cab as far as I know. Conceivably you could put older hardware (even something relatively new that still supports local, like a RingEdge) in there, but you still couldn't make...

    K C Game sale

Right, so I was just confused about what "wired up for 2P" would mean, since nothing that runs on the cabinet supports it software-wise.

Is this actually the case? Not to sound increduluous, but I was under the impression APM3 games like Virtua Fighter eSports or Dead or Alive 6 just didn't support local versus (i.e. 2 sets of controls on one panel) anyway so it seemed a little illogical.

Nesica panel repro surround + reader housing

Any chance on doing more of these or was it a single run project?

    Humble Greetings from NorCal

I can imagine. I'm from the East Bay originally, but I've got enough room in our apartment for at least one proper cabinet, hah!

    Humble Greetings from NorCal

Greetings, and thanks for having me. I'm based out of San Francisco in the US, and while I've messed around with Arcade1Up cabinets and have a pretty wide array of experience messing with arcade software, I haven't had the chance to own any proper cabinet hardware myself, so I'm keen to get my...

IC: Screen printing VLX panel for SFV / Diamond Black / C panels . Jun 29th.2021 updated.

Folks can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the marquee above the screen (the part that actually says 'Vewlix', that is) should be 27.5" x 5.15" (69.85cm x 13.08cm). I imagine making one of those is a bit different to a control panel, though.
