    FOUND - WTB - Sega Model 2B CRX Communication Board

    I was able to get a Tested commboard for $55 AUD from Zax Amusement in australia. I bought 2 from them. Shipping to Canada was about $50 AUD and it took about 1 month to arrive. It was well packaged, and it solved my network issue on my twin Virtual On cabinet.

    ...pulling out original cables and connected them directly 2 by 2 (without joining them in the middle). same issue. then tried new cable same issue. (12 feet so connected directly without having to join 2 cables as the original 5 foot cables were )

    It doesn't seem to have a place to do that, but this screen blinks on for a fraction of a second right after the Network Check on boot. It seems to suggest the machines are labeled 1 and 2 correctly.

    Thanks. Good to know. I checked that the TX from Master (producing bright red light) is going into RX on Slave, and same from Slave to Master. I've had them connected the wrong way before and they didnt get past the Checking Network boot screen.
