It fits in an E2, my repro panel with OG spinners are in this cab. You just have to bent a little the microswitch tabs.

It’s not a complicated conversion. You need the patched files, then you need to burn the rest of the eproms. As for the protection chip, you’ll need a diode. Last step is to configure the jumpers as you’ll use eproms instead of maskroms.

In the past I had the same issue and it has been fixed by changing the supercap.

As a follow up, my friend bought another Multi kit (this one is V2). I swapped the main and interconnect pcb with the new ones and it works perfectly. The sprite issue seems to be in the multi’s main pcb. He asked me if it is possible to send it for repair ?

Unfortunately my CD&Punisher don't have those wire jumpers on D board...but if you need other checks, I'll be glad to help ;)

Long ago I fixed a FF romboard that has issues like yours, found a couple broken joints on the CN1 connector iirc.

Just checked, all pins on multi are ok. Removed the pcb and checked CN5 and CN6, everything looks good

You're talking about the 2 connectors at the edge of the B-board that plugs into the big pcb of the multi? if so yes I checked and there's no bent or broken pins. I also pretty confident that it was an interconnect (A/B or B/multi) issue, but after all the tests I've done, I'm in doubt...

I already tried with another b-board and sadly the issue remained. I’ll try touching the solder points on the multi see if It changes something. I also swapped the sd card with mine=> same issue
