Motherboard is just a standard ATX affair with a front panel header that the TTX3 IO plugs into. You can just follow FP1, check the standard pinout and swap in a power button…

Doesn’t look like a gpu issue if it is the same character glitching… could you try rewriting the game file to HDD?

I had to acquire an actual PS/2 keyboard for messing with my TTX/TTX2… not super easy to come by sometimes!

Does anyone have any ideas on dumping/flashing the gpu bios from the TTX directly? I have only read that there are issues in doing so. I tried to build a AGP based test system but still had issues…

@krmnnghia any chance to test both gpus in a regular pc? See if both are dud or both are good…

Got a different PSU you can use meanwhile? Worth noting those Sun PSUs can often benefit from a recap themselves, given current age… someone with more experience there can probably give some input…

@imfuraisoth Is this a N1 or N2, and how are you powering it? Had the same issue on a N2, swapped NetDimm over to a N1 and managed to update/save… can’t think of a reason, but the N2 could probably have benefitted from a better psu…

@jj1929 I don’t think the model number relates to the motherboard… more the hardware config.

@jj1929 looks like your TTX has seen a model number upgrade with that label. My 006C has a sticker with the C on it as well…

I have had both a 006C and 001B play nicely with TGM. Both Rev A1 motherboards, One with a fixed and the other with a removable coincell battery…

That looks original… some have a ‘Jamma Bios’ label on them like this one… TGM seems to be the most picky title regarding this. Can you also try Raiden IV? I got awful choppy slowdown in the first level using a 9600 without the Jamma Bios…

@AlxUnderBase what GPU is in your X1? I’ve had a black screen with anything other than the stock 9600SE with Taito firmware…

Anyone want help crowdfund an IONA unit for @Niko ? TTX2/3 would be the systems of choice for this… and Niko has certainly done his fair share on that front 😉 I’ll contribute $20USD… anyone else? DM me to keep this thread on track and let’s see…
