@opt2not I see - thanks for the breakdown. Too bad UVC is basically unobtainable now, so I'll have to try something different like GBS-C I suppose. If I'm going to try with an "external" device instead of UVC in this case, I suppose all I would need to do is wire up an input to R, G, B, ground...

Any word on additional device support coming in the future? I'm delaying the apparent headaches around the firmware upgrade process until I know stuff like light gun/wheel/etc support is on the table. For now I'll keep it as-is while some of my controllers and arcade sticks operate fine.

This has been and remains my experience as well. I hope the root cause and resolution is made public for everyone to reference in the future, myself included. Otherwise I have zero issues with this device.

fwiw when I tested on Naomi I bypassed the filter board altogether and just used an old cell phone charger to power the adapter. I had prior issues with the Naomi filter board when it came to powering my netboot Pi setup so I haven't been using it anyway.

I must have been thinking about the KOF98UM game on PGM2 then. Good to know that stereo is an option for this board at least.
