Game Saru cab imports - Open for orders (updated 7/29/2022)

That’s an awesome setup! I like the lone Tate cab at the end of the Net city row.

    MiSTer FPGA

I feel like it has extra slowdown. Like when the game slows down, it slows down more dramatically. It makes some of the more difficult sections a little easier to navigate. I literally swapped the mistercade with the PCB without making any adjustments to the capture gear. Since it's analog, we...

I dug out my streaming gear and recorded a back-to-back run of Armed Police Batrider PCB & Mister. I put the videos side-by-side for comparison: View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9ZpQiy4930 I think the Mister version is very playable as-is. It feels like it has extra slowdown and reduced...

    MiSTer FPGA

I've 1cc'd Esprade on mister and arcade PCB back to back. Also 1cc'd Armed Police Batrider advanced course on mister and PCB back to back. I'm impressed with the mister. If you have original PCBs you can notice a few things that are not 100%, but these cores are not fully mature and the...

Fantasy Zone 1 on System 16B

It sounds like a lot of work to get it running on the 5358 romboard. In case it helps, here's the jumpers for the 171-5521 romboard:

One thing to note is that obj rom labelled A1 actually goes at location B2 and obj rom B10 goes to location B6. Reference the photo I posted for jumpers too.

Fantasy Zone 1 on System 16B

Doesn't look like it's in mame. I think the thread that discusses Apocalypse's fix got nuked too when he went away. I have a copy of the romset in my dropbox, I don't know if this is the fixed version, so if you want to try it out you can PM me. I can dump the roms from my board when I get...

Fantasy Zone 1 on System 16B

There is a regular "full game" version also rippable from the disc in addition to the time attack version. The disc "full game" version had a few minor graphics problems like the "Credits" font, and the sprite for the trails left by the final boss were not right on real hardware. These were the...

Fantasy Zone 1 on System 16B

Fantasy zone was converted by M2 to run on 16B for their sega ages PS2 release. You can extract the roms from the disc and run them on pcb. Apocalypse then fixed some of the bugs and improved it for the 16b multi.

That's a cool feature. The first two dips for the level select also control the # of starting lives. It's kinda like a debug feature made it's way into the final version. 1941 also has a level select, but I think it only works when it's set to free play.

Now that the multi is out, has anyone personally noticed any incompatibilities with the 12MHz dash boards and early CPS1 titles that used the 10MHz crystal? I've played a bunch of early CPS1 stuff like Final Fight, Daimakaimura, Strider, 1941, etc. with the Dash mobo and haven't noticed any...

Thanks for the pic link @parodius . It's a shame that it's not higher resolution. It seems there's some question on the french forum as to whether this is genuine or a conversion. It would be nice if it is genuine but there are a couple of things that stand out as unusual: - the rom labels...
