    I think G is the security chip afaik. IE that qfp near the dipswitches. Make sure the rom near that chip is good.

    You are talking about the 28 pin 23c1000 pinouts. Only the more expensive eprom programmers support the actual 28 pin 1mb pinout. Basically you would need to make an adapter for that, something like this: https://www.tindie.com/products/caiusarcade/1mbit-mask-romeprom-to-27c010-adapter/

    Nope, those are PGA. You need quad flat pack versions. They are quite hard to find compared to the pga versions.
