Taito Type X3 TTX3 Buyers Guide for newbies!

I never pursued it, as I was only testing the set up for a friend, but he has a Fast I/O in his Vewlix and does not have any issues with controls. https://forum.hfsplay.fr/ttx3multi-f229/multi-ttx3-patchs-correctifs-t18847.html

Taito Type X3 TTX3 Buyers Guide for newbies!

The issue is the JVS board in the Noir, it happens on all Noirs. There’s a French forum that released a patch to fix the issue and a few other issues, but I had issues being able to the download the patches, and I don’t speak French :/

    Negative feedback thread for kcarcadegame

I’ve personally witnessed this on 2 separate occasions. He sent pics of a particular cab in a particular color to a buddy, said buddy paid for it and for KC to deliver it. KC showed up with a similar cab, but far worse condition than what the pics showed, but offered to discount it so he...

    Negative feedback thread for kcarcadegame

To the buyer it doesn’t seem like an issue at all, especially when we can see KC has multiples of the cab in question. 1 part was needed to make an already sold cab complete. If it was a one off type cab, then the understanding/leniency changes in that type of situation.

Does the Artax v4 .img get smaller when writing to a 1TB SSD?

It sounds like you’re doing it wrong. You’re supposed to extract the archive onto a drive bigger than 1TB, so that you have the 931GB .img file sitting in a folder. Then use a program like Win32 Disk Imager or HDDRawCopy to select and write that .img file to your 1TB SSD.

Yes, the COM port is only necessary if using Taito JVS driver/hardware. The only potential issue I see is playing through the loaders with Keyboard bindings and possibly having issue with CTRL, ALT, Shift combinations. Though you could set up any keyboard ( or JVS-PAC 2) to act like 360 game...

You’re going to be doing what has already been discussed in the Type X3 thread. You’ll be installing an embedded Windows version on any hardware with a com port, not really necessary, setting up Attract-Mode as front end to launch batch files or scripts for arcade dumps along with J-Config and...

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

It’s a matter of preference and card performance. I always turn off antialiasing on all my games because I like to see the edges of the character models and backgrounds. Having any sort of antialiasing makes everything look to smooth/smeared for my personal preference. Adjust the settings to...

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

The 1060 is 8-10% more powerful than the 1650, either will card chew through all these arcade fighters, get whatever fits the budget. The GPU world is still screwy, so anything decent is still overpriced.

Type X3 video card and CPU upgrade

If playing 1080p fighting games, hell even at 1440p, the GTX 1060 6GB will run them all at high settings, 60fps.
