WTB: Gals Panic S2 and S3 carts

no, they're SOP44 ROMs, there are no EPROM equivalents you have to use 3.3V EEPROMs (like the MX29L3211MC) lift the power pin and install a DC-DC converter to power them. It's a similar process to what you see on the conversion carts...

    Rhythm Tengoku Monitor kHz

no. NAOMI Universal from the factory was 31kHz only Net City Cabinets were Tri-Sync (15/24/31kHz) that is the primary difference between the cabinets. NAOMI games (like Rhythm Tengoku) are designed to run at 31kHz, but the NAOMI hardware is able to interlace that output (meaning throwing away...

WTB: Gals Panic S2 and S3 carts

Fun fact GPS3 used 3.3V Mask ROMs from the factory, despite the fact that the carts supply 5V, so nearly every cart has bad graphics data as a result of blown out Mask ROMs. So if you want that game expect to buy a cart with graphics issues and fix it. and if it doesn't have graphics issues...

Rusty Screw Removal - Need Help!

Indeed JIS is superior to Philips and is most often the proper tool for Japanese made equipment. You can tell it's a JIS and not a philips screw if there's a small dot next to the slot https://www.motorcycle.com/ask-mo-anything/difference-between-japanese-jis-phillips.html

Rusty Screw Removal - Need Help!

hehe, as someone that has lived their whole life in the rust belt and works a lot on rusty cars. I wouldn't even consider this rusty :P liquid wrench isn't great for this, I would recommend: https://blasterproducts.com/product/pb-blaster-penetrant/ spray it into the threads on both sides let it...

Third Strike - Missing 1P heavy kick input

it's most likely that big Capcom ASIC in your picture. That controls all of the inputs and I've run into more than one CPS3 mobo where a button was stuck ON as a result of a fault internal to that chip. There are a few custom Capcom Resistor networks between that chip and the kick connector...

FREE (for shipping cost) Sega 839-1204-03 PCBs

hmm interesting. it sounds like you need to know that if you want one. Though looking at this board I'd say that if you don't know what it's for then you don't need it.

What's the important point for a 3d printer beginner

^this right here. buy a popular printer because you WILL need a lot of help and support and a popular printer will have a lot of online help and support. what makes a good printer depends on what you typically print. So buy something middle of the road and not super expensive, learn, and then...

no no, disconnected is the desired configuration for Taito Stereo Over JAMMA. I leave mine disconnected 100% of the time. the only time you'll ever have a problem is if the game leaves "speaker -" disconnected for some reason. Everything else will work.

    It's a bird, it's a... No, it's just a bird... My Egret 29 restore thread.

out of curiosity what are you using for a test PCB? and is the P-Connector connected or disconnected? EDIT: For Context the P-Connector is a few inches down stream of the W-Connector (the big blue connector just downstream of the JAMMA edge). it's a little white 2-pin connector that modifies...

Another take on the translation: https://www.reddit.com/r/freefightstickart/comments/ip9xs2/preview_i_was_able_to_recreate_and_translate_the/ I'd probably drop the polite language and capitalize lines that don't end in a period. データアクセス中は抜き差ししないで下さい。 Do not unplug while accessing data...
