I ended up measuring... And I guess what the heck, I built my own PCB because why not? This one could potentially be soldered directly to the board, or a classy header could be soldered into it as well.

Thanks. Yes I've seen those. I'm just wondering about the schematics because I could put something together and at least test the board properly before I decide if I return it or not, before buying any parts. But I guess I can pull one of those from the board and measure them myself.

That should do it. Slap a TSOP SST39SF040 on it and solder the pads on the bottom to configure as desired. I choose solder jumpers because mechanical jumpers would not only look uncool, but would add unnecessary cost. I'll most likely manufacture those as a black PCB for a less disruptive look.

Sorry, the only SEGA IO I know is not JAMMA, so it would get power from Naomi, rather then the edge connector. In any case, just ignore what I said. As I posted above, I'm new to this NAOMI thing.

You definitely want to have a solid ground connection between the two boards to avoid any ground differential if boards are being powered by different sources. I wonder if the VGA cable, Audio Cable, and the USB (JVS) cable are enough to connect grounds between the IO board and Naomi.
