    PGM cart protectors?

Looking for protective cases for PGM carts. Would prefer not shock boxes, unless they're actually sized correctly. These are what I use for MVS: https://retroprotection.com/Neo-Geo-MVS-CARTRIDGE-Protectors-10-Pack-887.htm Would love to find something similar.

"Sparkles" in graphics on specific game cartridge (Bomberman - conversion or repaired).

Price, got it cheap enough that even if it's a stop gap I won't feel it much. And frankly the specs and compatibility list is solid, it's just the unsigned drivers that are problematic.

Ended up getting a Wellon VP598. It's... OK. Couldn't get it to work in a virtual machine, and you have to disable driver signing in Windows to get the USB to serial driver to work. But otherwise it seems solid. Example unit (I paid a fair amount less)...

    CBOX/JAMMA Box Questions

Dang, was hoping that was it. Next step would be to figure out where the signal is being lost.If I had it in front of me, I could swap out some parts. But lamentably I have no idea what the pin out is of the cable that connects to these boards.

    CBOX/JAMMA Box Questions

Gotcha, so it has one of the remap chips built in. Have you tried resetting the mapping? I have a similar board (jamma extension rather than supergun) that got stuck in a bad configuration, was a PITA to reset. The newer ones like yours at least have a button to press to trigger the setup rather...

Jumping back into this thread, any new pic source files these days? Thinking I'll make some new ones myself... should still have some PIC16F628A around here someplace.

WTB: Waku Waku 7 MVS and/or IGS PGM "starter collection"

As weird as it is, I'm avoiding the cave shooters because of the whole vertical orientation thing. Well avoid is the wrong word. I'm not seeking them out.

WTB: Waku Waku 7 MVS and/or IGS PGM "starter collection"

Been tracking that seller on aliexpress, unfortunately they don't have Demon Front currently and the sellers that do have no feedback. Ah well, no rush on it.

Could very well be that what I was seeing was what was expected, which is way I was looking for some pictures to compare things to. I'd already found the site you linked to, but I appreciate it none the less. Any chance you have a Demon Front cart for sale (or any other titles you consider must...

WTB: Waku Waku 7 MVS and/or IGS PGM "starter collection"

What I've seen in a short search is a lot of carts with flash memory where I would expect an EPROM (shrug). I may just be delving into the shadier sides of the interwebs.

WTB: Waku Waku 7 MVS and/or IGS PGM "starter collection"

I've reached a deal with Skate for a main board and a couple carts to get me started. Will continue my hunt for Demon Front to replace the single JAMMA board version I have (which I'll then resell to off set the cost of moving to the cart version). Is there anything like the MVS Scans database...
