Thanks, not sure about the "existing" SD, there are some erroneous hidden Mac files on there though, this SD reads fine in Windows and it was working fine before I put the multi into the cupboard. The new SD, I formatted and moved the test files to that using Windows.

Bad sdcard?

I used @Frank_fjs DIN to SCART PCB and an off the shelf DIN cable, works great.

It depends on your knowledge level but a logic probe is a pretty cheap and easy to use troubleshooting tool: https://www.amazon.com.au/Elenco-LP900-625-Logic-Pulser/dp/B0002E7X5O You basically connect it to your PSU 5v and when you touch a pin or PCB contact you can hear the logic, or the audio.

@klee123 all good, did you get it from ebay or someone on here? I had no audio on the minigun because I decided to leave out the audio jack, the audio jack has a switch in it so even if you don't use the jack you need it to get audio out of the DIN. If you bought yours assembled then it's not...

Gotcha, CPS2 definitely doesn't need -5v and Denjin Makai II looks like it doesn't need it either, all my old Konami boards need it.

What arcade board are you using, some of them need -5v (minus 5v) also?

Yes, the DIN connector on the minigun carries sound.

Thanks @Nimmers Do we have any idea if there are spare PCB's available for the HSN-0011? Any Aussies out there (that have upgraded a VSHG) keep the original PCB? It's either the cable or the PCB thats faulty.
