Thanks, tested with current mame (a little after 0.254), appears to be working. I only tested a few titles but didn't see anything bad. I looked at the Discord but you're offline and greyed out. Next is to try this code with hbmame - if it doesn't work then that's my problem.

It works in HBmame, so you should be able to get it running. I don't know anything about the multi though.

I don't mean to be rude, but... is that code supposed to be working? Firstly I tried it with HBMAME and although it compiled all I got was a black screen. HBMAME code is a bit old, so I tried it on current MAME. Unfortunately, same result. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with this game, but to me it seems to work great. You're a genius!

Just tried the ssideki2 one from the original post and it runs ok in MAME. There's just a small problem, there's 2 flickering squares near the left side. Apart from that it's fantastic.

Wonder if there was any more progress with these games... the patreon hasn't been updated for over a year.

After doing some checking I found that 3 of the 4 roms already existed in HBMAME for a long time. Only the p1 rom is new, and fixes the bad graphics on the title screen. So, thanks for that, the game (trallycd) now looks fine (in the next release, 0.245.11).

A few years back someone made a NeoGeoCD version of Phoenix, unfortunately the result was slow and buggy. It seems that the project was then canned. I was hoping that whoever it was would finish it, but nothing happened. This Xevious port is light-years ahead both in playability and a pleasant...

Depends what you mean by obvious. A cursory glance probably won't reveal anything, but it's unlikely the chassis will survive intact. If you turn it on, look for one of these: heater in the tube not lighting up; sparks in the tube neck; arcing around the yoke; the spark gaps on the neck...
