Ah, I thought AC and NAC panels used the same mount. To be precise, I am using NAC panels. One has Sanwa mounts (from a NUC) and the rest are Seimitsu mounts, but they all use the same stepped base plate.

I'm working on turning my New Astro City into the do-everything machine, and one of the everythings is running consoles in it. But the RGB from consoles is consumer-level, not arcade-level, and so the image is very dim. Cranking up the dials to make it brighter only results in the poor monitor...

IIRC a lot of the IREM games use non-standard sync rates. Have you tried other RTypes, or Mr. Heli, etc? They use the same core on MiSTer too, so we can minimize the different causes of the problem here. Maybe delete any configs for the game as well, see if something's been tweaked...
