Eh... I personally wouldn't FOMO into a CRT cab as an investment on a primary basis. They're meant to be enjoyed and maintained, not collect dust. Doubly so with the current economic trajectory.

I think the biggest question to ask yourself is what do you want to play and who will you be playing with? Many of the older games just look better and "right" on a CRT and if you're looking for that experience it'll be hard to replicate on LCD. That said, if you're not picky about looks and are...

Instead of removing the magnet, I recommend flipping it and inserting it back in so you don't lose it. You can always revert it this way if necessary as well.
