Maybe someone before you already recapped the board partially but with different values, can you see if the solder joints are from the fabric or not?

The p1 button 2 was always pressed due to a broken JK-03, I've bought and installed 3 repros from @caius and now I'm able to pass the screen by pressing p1 button 1 and run all the tests!

I got this board today and trying to figure how to enter in the test menu to see if everything is working (the game seems to run fine from the attract mode). I've tried some combos at startup but only holding the service button I get the squares pattern but nothing else. Am I missin something?

sorry for the late reply. I've used panasonic and nichihon for the recap. I've tried to move a little bit the potentiometer and now it seems to boot every time (need more tests but tried to boot like 10 times, one every 10 minutes and it always booted)

I'll try to measure it but it has the glue on it, (don't know if it's present from the production line or not). I never touched it since I already knew that wasn't an audio potentiometer when I bought my 1st f3.

I'm sorry but I was misunderstood I don't mean the gnet games. But since the gnet is composed by 3 PCBs and the main board is a Sony ZN2 (if I'm not wrong) I was asking if the mainboard can be used with the proper romboard for a future product from you :)

Just curious, but the ZN2 found on the gnet will work with that?

Found them they should be UFG series from nichicon they're freaking expensive but it seems to be an even higher series, the UKZ series =O

From what I know low ESR capacitors are used in PSUs for filtering, and I never had any issue in using them (other than on that PSU). Maybe I wasn't clear but obviously not all the capacitors in that PSU were low ESR for example the high ripple ones usually aren't available in low ESR "type"...
