i did that. i also included a 4MHz crystal & caps and the 2.2uf reset cap mentioned in the datasheets. did your adapter have power-on-reset or a clock? it's unclear if they are needed in eprom-mode.

has anybody tried dumping a 6305 with a 4k maskrom as a 63705 eprom based device?

it would make sense if they are protecting a chip that can get too hot.

you can probably unlock it with linux and if so - copy it with the DD command to a file. it may already be done - there are some in mame.

i got the 020 method working last month. the problem is compatabilty, it only works on some programmers. it DOES work on an ELAN 5000 it does NOT work on a MicroMaster1000 or a TL866IIplus.

there where no hacks on any of the boards i have or have seen. i dont know why there are so many variations of oscillator/jumper config though. you would think there is just 15 or 24KHz video and the cpu would just run at it's safe limit.

i dont think have the sound board! i did get the game running, but never finished the patches - i had palet issues if i remember right. but it probably didnt help that i was using a blend of pld's to get a running board!!!

then maybe it's mk, i know it's the same board because i only got them to try to make a strikeforce conversion!

the seimitsu has a plate, if you remove it you can make a replacement with holes to match your panel.
