    [WTB] Sega trackball I/O board ref. 837-8685

    Honestly given what I've seen these things selling for, that's not a terrible price, even with P1 not working.

    [WTB] Sega trackball I/O board ref. 837-8685

    I hunted for ages to find one, I only ever it see it as part of a game that uses it and then sometimes those games are missing this board :( I ended up buying a repo board that someone else made which honestly looks/fits like junk (screw holes don't even line up and the connector is poor so...

    CPS1.5 conversion help

    Well it sounds like you've confirmed that the A-Board is good, that the C-Board and C-Board Infinity key is good if you tested it on other CPS1 setups. I don't think the graphics ROMs will make a difference, I'm honestly not sure if the q-sound sample ROMs matter either. So the problem is...

    CV1000B Espgaluda II will it work with PSU400-5261

    that looks like Flux; perfectly normal and safe and is just residue left over from either manufacturing or a rework (like if the cap was replaced) if it bothers you can you clean it up with some Isopropal Alcohol on a cotton swab

    CPS1.5 conversion help

    Saturday Night Slammasters had extra modifications in addition to the normal desuicide in order to switch between encrypted and decrypted code for the check routine. are you sure you've undone all of it? Also have you undone the de-suicide modifications on your C-Board? and on your C-Board...

    Sega Model 2/3 A/B/C - CRX and how I stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb.

    ^THIS Mostly though it's just the program ROMs that are different. So for instance Zero Gunner was released on both CRX-A and CRX-B you can move all of the ROMs and the security board over to the other hardware, and then burn new Program ROMs.

    Converting Kageki -> Insector X attempt :)

    Nice catch on the 32bit graphics. This arrangement is not captured in MAME, the driver treats them like individual 8-bit ROMs. I'm honestly surprised hardware this old uses 32bit graphics data. Then again I do often see graphics data like this where the first 8-bits are used for the sprite, the...

    Converting Kageki -> Insector X attempt :)

    Nice Work! This is something you could also patch in the game binaries... stuff like coin inputs are usually only collected once per loop so it might not be too bad to patch. generally I like to run 100% original code but depending on how easily (or not easily) reversible the PCB mods are it...

    [FREE] NEO-GEO MV1C and MV1FZ motherboards - Giveaway Concluded.

    I suppose that's true since there are two prizes. At best they could only win the second prize, or if they were tied for second they'd get bumped.

    Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Controller / Button Question

    OK... "Happ Competition" sticks are the ones that went into classic USA SF and MK cabs. I'ts my understanding that Happ used to contract out the manufacture of these sticks to a company called IL (Industrias Lorenzo). Sometime around 2008 Happ stopped using IL and moved production to China...

    Positive Feedback for benime

    Recently bought a high value PCB from him. Excellent communication, phenomenal packing, and an amazingly clean PCB that plays great. I wish all of my transactions in the hobby were like this.

    ZN1 Bios board arrives!

    I think you misinterpreted my post... I said Brave Blade "on a cheaper donor"... I know it wont work on G-Net But the work your doing means that maybe it could be ported to another PCB that maybe has the correct sound hardware. Brave Blade is one of the more valuable games on the ZN system...

    ZN1 Bios board arrives!

    I believe it's the Brave Blade G-Net Conversion that's missing music, if you could find a way to get that one fully working with music on a cheaper donor that would be something :)

    WTB tgm2 art, manual

    Presumably there'd also be a "TGM2 Plus" variation of the art work. it's also missing the long banner that Psikyo included with their games. If you happen to come across scans of either of these please let me know.
