Yea just go ahead a TRY to play MK with it, you'll get your ass handed to you.
In MK special moves are almost 90% tap/tap/tap motions, not rotational or circular motions (yes a few exceptions like Sub-Zero's freeze projectile).
Nice looking yea, I love the metal diamond pattern overlay with Capcom on it.
For games like Street Fighter I feel I play slightly better with a Semitsu LS32, for games like Mortal Kombat however its IL/OG-SuzoHapp 100%!
Multi sync? If you can support 31khz (VGA) I'd still get a GBA Consolizer and just use an HDMI-to-VGA adapter.
If you are talking about 15khz only, then yea as it would become to cumbersome adapt and downscale.
I just wanted to echo that you should use battop IL sticks and concave screw-in buttons.
It would be wrong to use something like convex snap-in buttons IF you want that perfect original USA SF recreation/feel.
The color layout should also be 2x Red, 2x White and 2x Blue.
I fucking hate this game (and I'm kicking it out of my collection)!
New/sealed, someone please buy it before I set it on fire!
65$ Paypal gift (trade offers also welcomed) includes shipping inside USA.
Castlevania 3 (NES) would be awesome!
Not really sure IF the game could be reworked to actually support it tho.
That would be alot of action to fit on one screen, and monsters would have to re-generate or something.
1. I'm not 100% sure, I took a VGA cord to Homedepot and found the correct size by matching it.
2. Nope, its a 8 pin mini din wired with the "retro standard" pinout.
I recommend one of these from etim, it works great with the OSSC.
100%, you CAN feed AV1 BTW... however this requires modifying the OSSC and enabling the option in the firmware/menu.
This is why I keep a Trisync Helper handy in addition to the Jassifier.
TSH TTL sync, Taito F3, OSSC AV3
Jassifier 75ohm sync (color levels set to users liking) everything EXECPT...
We don't have a database of this...
Even myself, who has personally owned 4 different stock Vewlix monitors NEVER tested a single one for 240p native support.
Really if you ask yourself this one simple question:
Hey why would the official Taito Vewlix JAMMA kit come with a scaler PCB IF the...
So its sending separate H and V syncs? I've never attempted to feed composite sync via VGA (pin13) to the Vewlix stock monitor, I just assumed this would NOT work.
Anyway IF you ARE sending separate H and V syncs, you can forget about supporting Taito F3 on a OSSC... It must be...
I don't care that Gamecube used a DAC and Genesis 2 uses caps/resistors, the lesion that we ALL should have learned from this is DONT DO THAT.
Proper = At output the signal is set, the device complete, the cables to connect it are just dumb copper that merely transport a signal (not alter it)...
