After a lot of trial and errors, I've gotten the WMMT2/3 card reader working in my cabinet. Huge kudos and thanks to @winteriscoming for all his all help to the community.

Awesome collection, especially the Bemani titles; would be nice to see some photos.

The motherboards are prone to failing due to overheating and ageing; mine has completely stopped booting up despite powering on. They're picky with RAM selection as well. Once something goes wrong, it's just pricey to fix.

Namco N2 boards come up here and there, recently 2 3DX+ bundled boards sold from yaton. There are alternatives out there, it'll just take time before it gets anywhere.

Technically it should work due to the JVS I/O, though no other features will work. Along with that, the first three Initial D games are for the NAOMI 2 (will NOT work on regular NAOMI) system, so you'll have to acquire your own NAOMI 2 board in order to play them.

Asia/Export version is in English. I hope you confirmed with them at least. They had both machines for sale last year, seems like nobody bought them in the end. Dunno what their plans are for them. It will work fine as long as it's not the UK N2 as it's not based on the real deal.

I've already noted and tested that it doesn't work. My comment is on the previous page. WMMT3 uses a different reader and I'm sure that's known.

Pretty sure the seller has them, I've seen the machines working before they decided to part them out.

This particular error refers to the N2 not finding the boot device.. the drive might be dead. For WMMT3, the dongle is used to serialize the game once it's booted, otherwise you receive a USB Dongle Error on the screen.

Just want to say awesome job on this project! I've been watching for a while and I'm glad to see so much progress has been made. When I've got the time, I'll definitely be testing this out with my Naomi 2 and other boards, especially with my Logitech wheels!

Just wanna say that many arcades in Sydney are still running TTT2, T6, Deadstorm Pirates etc, with only 2 Tekken 7 (ES3) cabinets at one specific arcade. It's safe to say these boards are still in use..

+1 to working, it's just the visual design thats different, as long as they're blank/formatted cards they'll work fine. As mentioned before, you can also use cards from other games like Derby Club, Mario Kart, Maximum Tune etc (as long as they're blank). However, ID cards sometimes have ink...
