Awesome write up!!! Definitely going to use this as a reference if/when I replace my Naomi 2 fans. One small thing I am not sure if you have encountered... have you ever had to reattach the heatsinks? Mine have popped off and I was wondering if I should be using thermal paste or glue (type/brand)?

You were right @djsheep I removed that section under [menu] video_mode=480,12,48,36,240,4,3,16,9089 And when I plugged in the HDMI it works again. Lol but now I don't really know what it means or where to go from here. Mistercade works great in my cab and I doubt I will ever want to output HDMI...

Received the Mistercade yesterday and loving it so far. What a well built piece of kit! Setup was straightforward with great documentation. One issue I am having with my setup, is trouble with my wifi (definitely location based). I unplugged the Mistercade and plugged it into my HDMI TV setup...

Thanks for the info!!! Definitely going to take your advice and run it off JAMMA edge in 15khz. Want to try and keep everything running native when possible... kinda the main reason I am so excited for the MiSTercade :D

Got a Mistercade inbound (PUMPED!!!) and just getting the SD card setup and was wondering what the preferred video setup would be? Using a Blast City should I run the video through the Dsub VGA at 31khz or through the JAMMA edge at 15khz?

I had the exact same thing happen to my Naomi 2... heatsink and fan fell off in transit. Thankfully it still works and it is a little sticky still so I just kinda put them back but not very secure. Also wondering what would be the best solution to reattach the heatsink and fan unit. Thanks :)
