Reverse engineering 161 in 1 cartridge to change Rom games

It's discussed earlier in the thread, it's because the full library does not fit on a single cart, and the duplicates / hacks share files so are much smaller than individual games. That's why he has made two carts in the videos.

Reverse engineering 161 in 1 cartridge to change Rom games

Just thought of something, I know you said it would potentially be possible for users to choose their own games, but how about including 240p test suite on it as standard? It only takes up a few hundred kb and is super useful. https://artemiourbina.itch.io/240p-test-suite

Reverse engineering 161 in 1 cartridge to change Rom games

As much as I like Pick N Mix, the two main advantages of it are alphabetising the games, and stripping out all the duplicates. So I could live without its in-game menu if the boot menu solved those two problems, which I assume it would

Reverse engineering 161 in 1 cartridge to change Rom games

Great work so far! Looking forward to seeing the end result (and how complex it is.) It seems like you won't have the time yourself, but if anyone here wanted to 'make' these I think there would be a tidy profit in it as the carts can be bought from Ali for well under $100 now. I would happily...

FS [PRE-ORDERS] USB2DB15 and CS Ver. for JAMMA/NEO GEO

I'm really interested in getting one (or two) of these, what I want to use it for is to connect a Sega Astro City USB arcade stick to this SLG-260 supergun, and then to a CPS1 or CPS2 board. Do you have any experience of these superguns? I'm unsure how I would connect the kick harness...

Let’s talk about the flood of Chinese CPS-1 conversions on ebay

This thread seems like the best place to ask. I bought one of these 'Chinese' boards from AliExpress last year. It appears to have a genuine Japanese SF2HF C board, but repro USA SF2CE roms on the B board. It arrived having taken a knock on the corner which broke the volume pot, so I replaced...

    New member saying hi

Hi, I've been lurking for a while so thought I should join (especially as I need some advice, but will come to that later.) My first arcade cabinet was this, which I purchased from eBay in about 2000 for £50 (and the SF2CE bootleg PCB cost me £20.) It was originally a 3 button setup, so I made...
