I Just tinkered a little bit and this should be as close as i can get. Well not exactly as i mapped the dimensions to be in 0.4mm steps so my printer can print it. it should work but i couldn't test it by now.

Thanks for pointing this out! I had the datasheet but absolutely missed that part. Fdm might still work. Even though the cover looks very thin it should still work at even 0.8mm wall thickness I guess 🤔 And the little dents should also be big enough I hope.

There is not the slightest force applied by the lid. It's just a lid, nothing else. It just covers the inside.

I already have a few findings: It seems the pins on the PROM are bent a bit too wide for the spring contacts to fully engage. Therefore the IC contacts need to be bent a little. Afterwards I was able to make contact with all springs. Not I need to come up with a lock-mechanism, which will push...

Short Feedback regarding the SMD adapter: It seems there usually would be a clamp, which is "missing". I'll try to design something to push the chip down... As it is now it's not really usable.

I just finished my work on the P-ROM Dumper/Programmer Board. I redesigned it in KiCad to be able to mount an "smd test socket" [IC306-070-110 0]: https://aliexpress.com/item/4000823686216.html I don't know if everything fits, but in theory it looks just perfect ^^ Attached the kicad files...

Reverse engineering 161 in 1 cartridge to change Rom games

@leonk in the current state it would need reprogramming of almost all Roms. But we're planning to do a "light" version, which then only needs the P-Rom and S-Rom. The only drawback will be, that this will not have the Bootlogo/eyecatcher, as these are part of the CROM/VROM. So keep your...

The wire should be no problem. And for me it took about 1minuter per % so about 90/100 minutes per 8Gbit Chip. +- depending on empty blocks

I'm currently trying to build the C3 stuff... Without much success 😅 it seems my PC lacks of RAM I looked through the python code and unfortunately there are byte arrays of ~3 GB created in there beside some other variables being 1GB etc. This seems to be a little too much for my 24GB RAM...
