Dude i respect your patience. I swear it will be the last MV1A variant i repair.. I can't even handle the repair logic since errors now make absolutly no sense after each fix. I repair 1 error, 2 other pop up. I repair a second one, the first error pop up again... Almost swapped every damn IC...

Check this thread out for caps references. Specially the voltage rating and compare it to the one you used. Then check cap orientation, it happened everyone before to mpunt it reversed polarity.. resolder anyway the job you did...

BRAM test passes fine. But calendar test passes barely the 1Hz test, get stcuk in 64Hz test, and gives wrong values in 4096Hz test. Swapped HC32, and u4990, oscillator in back up area, even BRAMs. No improvement. Followed u4990 tracks they seems to be fine.

One mor Another thing g to keep in mind, found out that BuF @ GA8 and GA9 have also to controllet input. So if you have trouble in some buttons behaviour, than i am quite sure is one of them.

I am currently fixing an MV1A slot for different problems, but during diagnose i was swapping almost all bufs, and i got 2 time z80-<>68k communication error in Diag, one time removing buf in GA9, and anoyher time in GA8. When removing the HC273, i got the following error: Hope this helps also.
