Ok, so i bought this cheap ass usb>rs485 converter which use an original FTDI chip. And It's working very well so far. Thank Corey for the tutorial and again, thanks Niko (have a beer on me man!)

With the com2 present the software run in background without any problem. I did the teste with an USB>rs422 adapter, the rs485 will arrive very soon. Thank you Corey and of course big thanks to Niko

I did also that. I copied the working emulator cfg and romlist in NesicaX making a new display. I also did modify the Cave preset to launch Mame. Nothing, the CPU stay around 20/30% during the game browsing and jump to 50% while Mame is running Sorry artfate but must be just a weird bug on my PC...

So i copied the entire layount "NXL SD" in my fresh installed Attract Mode configured with Mame. Any layout I use (added Nevato and Flat_blue to the default layouts) is working fine and during the emulation the CPU load goes to 0%. But when i just enable the NXL SD layout for Mame, the focus...

Well, amazing job artfate, just few thoughts... The new updated zip have everything inside this main folder "Project NXL" while the old one was "NesicaXlive". Now all the config files in the new version still refere to the "your root:/NesicaXlive" and this can lead to a lot of confusion...

Sorry Corey, well first of all thanks for the tutorial. I have some stupid questions... I did compile the code adding custom keys mapping, no problem at all. Now, since I didn't find any reference to serial port in the code, this mean that i can not use any rs-422/485 serial adapter? I have to...

Since I suppose the 80/90% of the final price will be to cover R&D and software development, think maybe to split the payment in two obligatory purchases. One for the bare PCB and one for the software so overseas customers can avoid to pay an awful lot of money in import taxes for a software...

This is going to be a DIY kit or almost ready to play board? :)
