New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

I've played this new version a bit, and as I told MetalliC, it seems to have cured the slowdown issue, which is great! I haven't been able to test as much as I'd like, as my IO board has developed a fault. :( I'm also in the process of fitting the extra buttons needed by this full...

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

@Darksoft Have replied. I wasn't sure whether disconnecting it would cause a system error, or something. It has a lot of connectors. I think I will try unplugging it and see what happens. :)

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

@MetalliC Got PM, cheers. I can always send it to someone outside the UK, if needs be. I would just want it returned ASAP, as I assume my cab won't work with it missing - or will it?

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

Sounds like a good deal. :) I'm still up for getting it dumped, if someone can be found to do it. I simply don't have the skills or equipment to do it myself.

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

Sorry for the delay - I had a few hardware issues that prevented me testing this game out. OK, so it loads up fine and runs great in demo mode, but when I actually play a game, everything goes into slow motion after a short while (about a minute), with a drastic deduction in frame rate. Could...

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

I'd be up for thatat some point, I would be up for doing that, at some point. I see AGS website says they have one in stock, too. Maybe Andy Geezer can get this dumped?

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

OK, I've updated my profile. I'm in the UK. What's involved in getting the ROMs dumped? I don't have a reader/burner, or anything. Do you still need better pics of the board? It's a bit of a pain to do as there's a metal cover that fits over the PCB, and getting to the screws is difficult...

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

Thanks, guys. Here's a few pics of what I have. The hopper controller is a separate, large PCB.

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

Thanks for the info, MetalliC. Good to hear it's the full version. I'll be happy to test it out once I get a net DIMM. However, the SWP version only uses 1 button (for start/top view), so I'll need to hook up some extra button to my cab, to test fully. The controls on these cabs are pretty neat...

New Game converted to DIMM: Shootout Pool

Hi I'm looking to convert my Shootout Pool Prize cashcube cab to play the full version, so this looks like just what I'm after - thank you Darksoft! :) I'm currently in the process of getting a net DIMM board so can't try this out for myself, yet. Could someone please confirm this is the full...
