VF3 and your Model 3 loom will give you stereo sound. CN7 or CN8 is stereo output, normally you adjust the sound using the volume dial underneath the control panel. You don't need the mixer board or DSB2 with VF3 using model 3 loom on Blast City. All sounds are generated from the game stack...

DSB2, SoikeOut FE uses it to play the music. VF3 doesn't use it, so disregard that for your situation.

You can use a DSB1 in a Sega Rally 2/Daytona 2 cabinet with an easy mod. The sound connectors are the same on both DSB1 and DSB2, just cut off the tab and rotate the serial connector 180 degrees. When playing Scud Race/Super GT in my SR2 cabinet I use the loom and filterboard from an old DSB2.

Glad the package arrived OK. No idea why it's doing that, mine boots straight up as you can see in my YT ECA attract video. Are your jumpers set the same as in the following (blurry!) pic? Is the network board attached?

Try grounding the game cage to a ground point on the cabinet. I had a similar issue with Scud Race when I installed it in a Sega Rally 2 cabinet. Your issue maybe related to something else, but, grounding the cage helped in my situation.
