Hey, do you know there are 44 ide to microSD, SD or CF adapters and disk on modules to plug right on the 44 pin connector ? You don't even need to source 5V !

Oem cabinets got a fan to cool the board and CPU. If you run the board without heatsink you'll blow your cpu in no time. There are no more cpus availables, a lot of good pcb with faulty cpus but very few/none bad boards with good cpu to donate in my opinion. Anyway, there's a good guy in Spain...

This involves hardware modification, and besides the risk of destroying a board for unskilled people, it also means hardware rework to revert back to original. I'm a total noob and I don't know if i'd be possible, but I think I'd be better to patch someway the addresses queried from the system...

Yes you're right, there would be one adapter per sound rom + some electronic (to be designed) in between the ide connector port and the hard disk to make it a multi. But you also could play ki1 only by swapping the roms and hd without further hardware, thanks to neku's patch!

Just an observation from the point of view of a noob which likes the oem look and stealth mods! There's a jumper besides the rom that toggles high/low and thus allow to select boot [and sound rom ?] upper or lower bank. [Update: I might be wrong, cause it's long time I ain't played with this...

Especially this part ! The perfect boot rom hack would be to be able to select a specific zone from a bigger HD containing the chds from both games
